Introducing MPOT Group Programs
MPOT, our sister company that specialises in allied health services, is excited to offer two new group programs for adults aged 65 and over at Gaynes Park, 247 Payneham Road, Joslin, South Australia.
Falls & Balance Group
The Falls & Balance Group supports strength, balance and mobility to help reduce falls and build confidence in daily activities.
Falls affect around one in three people over 65, but regular exercise can help prevent them.
Sessions run Mondays, 10–11am.
Brain Gym Group
The Brain Gym Group focuses on keeping the mind active by improving memory, attention and problem-solving skills.
Mental stimulation and social connection play an important role in maintaining independence as we age.
Sessions run Wednesdays, 10–11am.
Both programs are led by qualified allied health professionals in a safe, supportive group setting.
An initial one-on-one assessment is required ($185.20 per hour). Group sessions cost $30 per session.
If you are a current Alpha Support at Home client you can talk to your Care Partner to find out more. They can help with questions about the costs and check whether your Support at Home budget has capacity to include these services.
