i An assessment is needed to get started.

If you have organised an assessment with My Aged Care, but are still waiting for it to happen, please leave your details so we can answer any queries you may have. If you have not yet arranged assessment, please call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422. The contact centre staff will ask questions to help them understand your needs and care arrangements, to inform next steps.

i You received the outcome of your assessment.

Once assessed, your assessor will develop with you a support plan, based on the assessment. You will also receive a Notice of Decision letter from the assessor and be placed on the Support at Home Priority System.

i Need support yesterday? We can help.

Private home care offers an immediate solution to receiving care and support at home without having to wait for assessments or approvals. With private home care, you can choose the services you want and the provider you want without any government involvement. An Alpha Care Partner will develop your personalised Care Plan and agree the terms of our service with you and then services can begin.

i You are ready to receive the Alpha Support at Home services.

Funding is available and allocated to receive support at home services at this stage. Participants have 56 calendar days from the date their funding was allocated to find a provider and accept their place by entering into a service agreement.
